From a sourcing desk to a full intelligence practice
DashMinds Research began inside a procurement function, where the hardest part of every sourcing decision was never the negotiation. It was the research that had to happen before the negotiation: who the real suppliers were, what the category should cost, and how a market was likely to move over the next contract cycle. That work kept getting bought from three different places, and the seams kept showing up in the final decision.
So we built the capability in-house, then built it out further, market sizing, competitive tracking, workforce data, commodity benchmarking, until it covered the full arc from "what's happening in this market" to "which supplier do we sign." Today that same integrated model is what every client engagement runs on.
We're still a research-first firm. Every recommendation we hand a client traces back to primary or secondary data, not a slide template we reuse across accounts.
